Looking back: 2020 in review Looking back on 2020, we have some impressive results to share despite the COVID-19 disruptions. In 2020, FINISH Mondial communities have constructed a total of 51,000 additional safely managed toilets. This is equivalent to 408,000 working days in construction alone. FINISH Mondial Kenya and UNICEF in partnership to promote market-based sanitation Financial Inclusion Improves Sanitation & Health (FINISH) Mondial Kenya is launching a new partnership with UNICEF, with the objective of accelerating market-based sanitation in Siaya, Kitui and Migori Counties in Kenya. The market-based approach will help improve health outcomes by enabling affordable access to basic and improved sanitation services. The partnership will engage the private sector and other partners in offering innovative financing facilities and training for upcoming entrepreneurs and provide support for vulnerable households to access the products and services.
