Only a few days to go, come and join us at World Water Week 2023!

Our delegation is on its way. If you are keen to learn more about our work, exchange ideas or explore new collaborations, get in touch! You can email us at finishmondial@waste.nl to arrange a meeting. You can also find us at the Netherlands Pavilion, on 22nd and 23rd of August.

On Tuesday, the 22nd, from 13:30-14:30, our FINISH Mondial team will join a panel discussion and networking session entitled: “Financial innovation to unlock universal access to WASH: stories from the field”. Together with Take-a-Stake Fund, we will explore what type of partnerships are needed, which multi-stakeholder approaches have been tested, what lessons have we learned, and how are we scaling up for successful WASH services chains that unlock universal access locally. The panel will include Carolina Latorre and John Mathai from WASTE and Stephen Birungi and Pamela Kabasinguzi Teddy from FINISH Mondial.

On Wednesday, the 23rd, from 11:00-12:00, we will present what we do and what we’ve achieved so far, together with Take-a-Stake Fund. Our Supervisory Board Chair, Sarbani Bhattacharya, will speak about how to catalyse private capital for WASH and how we are fostering a global sanitation revolution through financial inclusion. Our whole team will be there, don’t miss this opportunity to connect with us!

Both sessions will be hosted by the Government of the Netherlands and the Netherlands Water Partnership in partnership with the Take-a-Stake and FINISH Mondial team at WASTE.

Our Uganda country coordinator, Pamela Kabasinguzi, will also be on the panel of the session organised by our partner SATO by Lixil, entitled “Partnering to innovate sustainable sanitation solutions in water scare areas”, on the 22nd of August at 11am. She will explore the instrumental role of collaborations that lead to scale while addressing diverse local WASH challenges and share her insights, experiences, and strategic approaches that have led to impactful scaling while adeptly addressing multifaceted local needs.

We look forward to seeing you in Stockholm!
