This is the story of Sattu, a resident of a small gram panchayat, Noorpur Lubana of Kapurthala district, Punjab, who was able to substantially improve his livelihood thanks to the support of MSK and FINISH Society. When the Mohalla Committee started a proper waste management system in his village, Sattu was taught about the scientific process of waste management. He is now not only the accredited waste collector for his village, but has also started his own pig farm from the additional income he is earning. Read his story.
