Financial inclusion can unlock opportunities for persons excluded from many aspects of society. However, converting this step into changed realities is not so straightforward. It is very timely that FINISH Mondial presents a special edition on financing as it is core to its mission.

Under the umbrella of this partnership, financing is extremely diverse. In part, we align partners on sanitation financing and work with others on scaling [sanitation] financing. We agree what partners can contribute, with each taking the lead in its own area of expertise. One of our most far-reaching financial innovations, the Sanitation Impact Bond, is now published as Fund Series on Convergence Blended Finance platform, where we seek to attract new partners. In the end, inclusion is what motivates the FM team.
